Never lose a good conversation again: backup and restore in FlirtPilot
You've crafted the perfect opener, saved a run of great replies, and finally got the Bio Generator to nail your vibe. Then you reinstall, switch phones, or clear the app — and it's all gone. FlirtPilot's new backup and restore fixes that. Here's what it does, how to use it, and how to stay in control of your data.
What gets backed up
Your backup includes your saved chats, every reply, opener, decoder result, profile rating, and generated bio, plus your saved profile context. It's a single, compressed backup tied to your account — so you restore onto any device you sign into, not just the one you backed up from.
How to back up
Open the More (Settings) tab and find the Chat backup card. Tap "Back up now" and FlirtPilot packages your data and sends it to secure cloud storage, showing you progress as it goes. The card tells you when you last synced and how large your backup is, so you always know you're covered.
How to restore after a reinstall or new phone
Reinstall FlirtPilot or sign in on a new device and FlirtPilot notices a backup exists for your account. Restore it and your chats, results, and profile context come back exactly where you left them. Restoring merges into what's already on the device, so you won't lose anything new you saved since.
Restoring is safe and reversible
If there's already a backup, FlirtPilot asks before replacing it — the old backup can't be recovered, so the app makes sure it's what you want. Backups are also refreshed in the background, so your latest work is protected without you thinking about it.
Faster with bigger histories
Backup goes hand in hand with a faster app. We removed the old 30-entry cap, so every saved result is kept — and we optimized storage, thumbnail decoding, and list rendering so even a very large history scrolls smoothly. You can also filter saved entries by date to find any conversation in seconds.
You're in control
Want to remove your cloud copy? Open the Chat backup card and tap "Delete backup". Your data on the device stays, but the cloud copy is permanently deleted and can no longer be restored. Want to clear everything on the device instead? Use "Clear history". And "Delete account" removes your account, profile, history, and backup for good.
